Lo-Fi Customs started on the mean streets of San Francisco as a bunch of barely employable messengers, tattoo artists and all around characters that started making art in one form or another. Led by Lo-Fi Mike (the one that signed the lease) they rented a warehouse space and opened a store/gallery in San Francisco's Mission district.

With ideas inspired by all the things they loved to do, bikes, motorcycles, rat rods and such... Lo-Fi started printing clothing and posters, building custom bikes as well as having sporadic art shows with local artists.

Today Lo-Fi Customs is presenting a new look of all the old favorites. The designs that represent the simpler side of life for both young and old.

People often ask about the name "Lo-Fi". The truth is that it was due to the fact that everything in the beginning was begged, borrowed, or home-made. But the products turned out were the best quality and the hands-on one at a time approach was well received in a mass marketed, mass produced world.

The new Lo-Fi is still the same old monkeys (Mike, Tracy, Danny-Boy Smith, George Weber) that are hard at work and will be presenting new designs and products on a regular basis as well as having open houses at the new shop. Sadly it is far from S.F. But stay tuned and sign up for the events update alerts to get the latest.

As always, thanks to everyone that got Lo-Fi this far.
